Well, the novel "J'irai cracher sur vos tombes" was really a parody of American
pulp stories from Boris Vian (signing here as Vernon Sullivan), and this kind
of inexactitudes was put there on purpose. As for the movie, it's interesting
to know that Vian died while watching a preview of that movie, which he didn't
approve of :)) .
