Reminiscent of the game I play driving around: make words out of the
(usually) 3 letter prefixes on cars' license plates. Of course it tends to
produce Arabic-y sounding triliterals, but with a little imagination (and
add some vowels or letters) you'll be surprised what comes up. :-)))))

Or take unusual place names and play with them: Washtenaw (Mich.) >
awshentwa, oshatno etc. etc.
