Today is "Mothers' Day" in the United States of America.
I don't know what other countries also celebrate a "Mothers' Day", nor, if
any do, which of them also celebrate on the second Sunday in May.
----
I looked up the following in Merriam Webster's Collegiate Dictionary Tenth
Edition.
"teen"
(noun)
[Middle English "tene",
from Old English "teona" meaning "injury" or "grief";
akin to Old Norse "tjon" meaning "loss" or "damage"]
(14th century)
(archaic):
MISERY or AFFLICTION.
----
Now, were they talking about how a teen (1818) or teener (189x) or teenager
(early 19xx) makes the rest of his/her family feel?
Or about how the teen feels, himself/herself?
