Runes

There seems to be many possibles for the origin.

Under influence of Northern Italic or Etruscan, or maybe some form of
writing the Goths or like picked up and brought back north, or maybe
even CeltiIberian, which is possible, but to early it seems.. To bad
there seems to be no records of the intervening lands? But it is most
likely some contact with Germanic tribe, either directly or indirectly
with Greeks (Related to a form of Attican greek?) Alot depends on how
they relate to either Black Sea/Balkan connection, Italic/Alpine
connection or the Coast of Europe connect.

Some have said they are related to a form of Runes from the Turks
(Orkhon), but.. It is likely more a case of same medium than of actual
connection.
