In Shaquelingua, it's already possible. Imagine, you here noise behind the
door, a Shaquean would call:
be kyó lóvi va diko juça !
[be: kwO 4Ovi va: diko juCa]
be kyó lóvi va diko juça
QLT:FLX EQUATIVE in:DYN DEF:INI COND:IMP.FUT person
= **Let this person move in, if (unexpressed).
= If there's somebody, come in!
(or)
= Enter whoever you are!
I would call it a conditional imperative. And just after reading this thread
it came to mind that I could also extend the system.
diko'rja ! [diko:'xja]
Conditional + Imperative
= Do (it) if (unexpressed)!
sjiko'rja ! [sjiko:'xja]
Potential + Imperative
= Do (it) if you can!
çriko'rja ! [Cxiko:'xja]
Volutive + Imperative
= Do (it) if you want to!
tsiko'rja ! [tsiko:'xja]
Obligative + Imperative
= Do (it) if you have to!
jiko'rja ! [jiko:'xja]
Implicative + Imperative
= Then/So do (it)!
(The Implicative mode is the consequence of the Conditional or the implicite
consequence of the context.)
That's a perfect case of ANADEWism! ;-)
