I'm not so sure of that. I used to regularly leave the list every
time a new school term began. But I've found of late that, rather
than leaving or going NOMAIL, it's helpful to receive the emails in
digest form. You still gets lots of extraneous material, but I find
it much easier to skip through all that by skimming in one sitting
than receiving individual emails separately. At the very least,
this method doesn't clog up one's emailbox anywhere near as fast.
