No there aren't just 2 possibilities; there are lots of others - we have no
records whatsoever of anything Jesus said about himself, for instance;
others (Simon Magus for instance) also claimed to be of divine descent; it
is also possible that he could have been the Son of God (whatever that
means) along with all the rest of us, and so on and so on. Oh dear, I hope
we're not heading off-subject here!
