Yeah, though I have noticed on this list that the number of "^H"s doesn't
always correspond to the appropriate number of characters to delete!

There is of course also "^W", which deletes the entire word, in case
you're a lazy basta^W^W^Wtoo busy to type all the individual deletes. :-)
