OT: Possibly of interest

This link was posted on sci.lang.  I am forwarding it simply because
I think many of the non-Usenetters here might be interested in reading it.
It's a criticism of Esperanto from a linguistic design perspective.
I know - no cross, no crown, no green star, and this sort of
thing may be old hat to the rest of you.  But the writer's approach
is different from what I personally have read before in other
such critiques.  There is also some vehemence that belies his
objectivity, but I'm not going to comment any more on the contents;
any such commentary should be directed to auxlang rather than here.
