I don't know if the Portuguese messed around in Korea per se, but I think
they were in the area. :-p
Er, the usual term for generic meat is "gogi" and for pork, "dwaechi
gogi" (lit. "pig meat"). I don't recognize "bak" and I only have an
English-Korean dictionary on hand. <sigh>
