My first language is Australian English, but two of my grandparents are
Dutch so I was able to learn a reasonable amount when I was small. I
learn German at school and am self taught in Esperanto. I can still speak
enough Dutch to make myself understood but still get lost often, and my
German is now better. On the net, apart from Esperanto, I've done a lot
of grammatical study of a few other languages, namely Swedish, Icelandic,
Finnish, Hungarian and Welsh. I do not proffess to be fluent or even
vaguely so in any of these languages however.
