Very wise IMHO. Regretfully, the auxlang scene is marred by the sort of
blind bigotry found among certain religious zealots. To venture, as I once
did, into Auxland is to wonder into a minefield. I'm sure there are
decent, moderate & reasonable people in Auxland, but as so often in this
world the bigots shout the loudest.

I agree.
Actually, most auxlangers would probably tolerate SolReSol, even tho that
was intended as an auxlang & achieved moderate success in its day, since
they no longer regard it as a serious rival.
But if we do include the conlang 'classics' that are known to the
non-conlanging world, then logically Esperanto has to be included.
There seem to me two possibilities:
(A) We quickly agree on which 'conlang classics' to include besides our own
conlangs, close that list (i.e. no more argument) and politely tell any
whinging auxlanger that this is a CONLANG T-SHIRT, *not* an auxlang T-Shirt
- which, of course, they are quite free to design themselves.
(B) We avoid the who damn auxlang issue by having only the conlangs
devised/invented/modelled by members of this list.
