Don't believe I''ve ever mentioned the Kash words that mean, specifically,
'to send or speak telepathically': hañúshit, that's a compd of haniyu
'soul/mind' + a reduced form of shindi 'speak'. (And yes, I can hear all
the Anglophones hooting and howling with laughter. Potty-minds!!!)
'to receive or hear telepathically': hañushos, as above, with a reduced
form of sosir 'hear', with /s/> /sh/ by analogy. So-- yanda me hañúshoska
more or less = 'don't listen in on my mind'. That is indeed considered
rude, unethical even, but those who are skilled enough do it from time to
time. It's permitted in a legal criminal examination.
(Travis the Taxi Driver might growl: me 'ñúsh@'k@?-- where /-ka/ is now
the yes-no Q particle, not the imperative. 'You lissnina me?'
