He was of course skeptical about E-o becoming *the* IAL, but he liked
the language itself, not least because it was invented by one person,
not a professional linguist -- in short, for its virtues as an artlang!

It's true that "international communication" is one of the defined purposes
of Loglan/Lojban, and some people have taken an interest in the Loglan Project
because of their interest in international communication.  Of course, it in
fact has been used in international communication, though not by two people who
had no other common language -- an unavoidable consequence of all the documentation
being only available in English.  (We'd love to translate The Book into
Esperanto some day.)

I don't know what the Auxlang list in particular thinks.
