I believe Nicole resides in the US, so probably wouldn't want pounds.
However, I have enough dealings with places in Britain that I wouldn't
mind obtaining British cash (without having to order it through a bank
or pay $5 just to make the exchange). If any of our UK folk are
willing or can't otherwise pay in dollars, I'll offer to take pounds
and pay Nicole in dollars.
