Anyone interested in folklore and mythology is highly recommended to get hold of a copy of "The Lore of the Land: A guide to England's Legends, from Spring-Heeled Jack to the Witches of Warboys" by Jennifer Westwood and Jacqueline Simpson ISBN: 0141007117 I got it for my birthday last month, and I've been dipping in and out of it ever since.
