And what's wrong with that? My lang Thagojian marks the cases of the
participating nouns on the verb (if that's the same kinda dealy?), and
indeed marks possessed nouns for the possessor instead of marking
possessors as "possessing something".
i.e.
ball me john give-(with.it)-(to.me)-(he)
for
john gives the ball to me
and
ball-(of.me)-(it)
instead of
me-(of) ball-(it)
I will absolutely have to take at least one gander.
