The green star (verda stelo) is the symbol of the Esperanto movement.
I imagine the "no green star" restriction makes taboo the whole subject of
International Auxiliary Languages ("is an IAL a good idea?", "whether it's a
good idea or not, will one ever be successful?", "which one is best?",
yada yada yada).
