Oh, I see...
I'm really sorry, because in one of my projects that I'm thinking over now,
there are labialized and palatalized counterparts for many phonemes,
occurring as minimal pairs, e.g. {ibat} [i"Bat] 'the vessel' :: {ibatw}
[i"Bat_w] 'land'.
I just thought that a similar idea came to smbdy's mind at the same time.
