My experiment with expanding English vocabulary is something I call Nadsat II,
which I might've mentioned on this list a few times; it takes words from many
languages. I'll try and remember to insert a few neo-Nadsatisms in my future
posts, with of course footnotes and explanations.
[Nadsat, by the way, was a slang with heavy Russian loans spoken in _A Clockwork
Orange_, an Anthony Burgess novel made into a Stanley Kubrick movie. It's
something of a conlang, I guess. Examples are "gulliver" for "head" from
Russian _golova_, "moloko" for "milk", "viddy" for "see" from _vidi(te)_ the
imperative for "see", and "yazik" for "tongue", actually _jazyk_.]
