Personally, I need feedback. So a cat won't do. Instead, I tend to have such conversations with a native speaker - myself. This, however, never occurs in the conscious world but in my dreams or in deep meditation. My speech organs are still active though - so I can still hear what is spoken. Its my way of escaping from reality. Some revert to alcohol or drugs. But I, I take the path less travelled by... conlanging... 8-) Am I mentally insane or what? Perhaps we all are - perhaps its part of being a conlanger... Regards, -Kristian-
