Normally my conversation with Fremen, my cat, consists of one sentence in
Brithenig: Ke gos es-sa fal teg? "What's wrong with you?" If she is
talking to me, it means she wants something. It does give me the
opportunity to practise pronunciation since Brithenig stresses the final
syllable. Sometimes when I fill her bowl with food I ask her: Es-a fyl?
"Is that better?" Conversations with pets are limited because they speak
their own conlangs but it can be helpful with pronunciation and
word-order.
