I just signed up to Gmail a few days ago, and after signing in for the
first time, all
I got was a blank page - maybe something like your problem? I solved my problem
by  changing my firewall settings to allow various things from
gmail.google.com .
The firewall I use is Kerio, and the "various things" had the titles
foreign cookies,
persistent cookies, session cookies, referer, popups, privacy,
javascript. I played
around enough to determine the VBscript and activeX (obviously enough) weren't
needed, but I didn't try very hard to narrow down the permissions any further.
There's almost certainly a more elegant solution, but I'm not that
bothered to pursue
it. I should add, that a flush of my browser's cache and cookie jar
was needed after
each setting change. What browser & system are you using, BTW?

PS. This is my first post to CONLANG from a gmail account, so, fingers
crossed. I've
set up a separate Gmail account just for CONLANG, which enabled me to set the
Reply-To especially.
