My point exactly - celebrate the three zeroes, plus the futuristic
connotations of The Year Two Thousand, and then the next year celebrate
the century/millennium! :-) If only there were something special about
2002.
And there's the Great Question - what's the decade gonna be called? How
will we refer to years like '03? I'd say oh-three, but for the decade?
The two-thousands? The zeroes?
Well, I suppose the problem will be solved in a few months as one usage
or another wins out.
Speaking of new years, the year 273 in the Kassí calendar will begin on
January 17, at 19:38 Eastern Standard Time (January 18, 00:38, GMT), in
the Human calendar, the year 810 won't start for a few more months.
