Oh I bet we Americans can't top what Paris did with Tour d'Eiffel. I had
just woken up from a nap; I always leave my TV on, and it was on ABC. I was
about to think it was the end of the world after all...
Too bad the river didn't ignite in London.
In America, nothing really spectacular except Times Square maybe --
especially in how they got over TWO MILLION people assembled all over
Manhattan.
And on a good note, Elton John performed "Crodocile Rock" rather than one of
his new ones. Gee I miss the old school.
