hehehe. That's my university being cute. All of its servers are named after crops. DeKalb, being famous for its hybrid corn, is a large farming town. The "corn" server is the faculty server. Students servers are "wheat" "rice" and "farm". My dialect evolves from my childhood. I was raised on a farm in NW Illinois. When I go back to visit, it takes me all of fifteen minutes to slip right back into warshing my hands, so he says, so I says, so he says, ain't, and all the other pleasant little variations. My step-grandfather, the epitome of failed midwestern farmer, once said to me, "You proved you're smart. Now put down that book and get a job!" He has also warned me about being "over-educated." When I pointed out that there ain't many full professors without PhDs, he threw up his hands and said, "Okay! You know it all!" --------------------------------------------------------------------- Living your life is a task so difficult, it has never been attempted before.
