Here is a quote from Pottier's 'Linguistique G=E9n=E9rale' (only for infor=
mation
purpose, not for my accountability for this)

Q : aspectivation ?
A :
no =3D> non-aspective (clean)
yes =3D> imperfective (cleaning) & perfective
with : perfective =3D prospective (to clean) & retrospective (cleaned)

This executes in time, space and notion (sic) :

examples as for notions =3D  indefinite/definite ; if/then, etc.
example as for time :
chronology =3D present // future -> past
only if you go to Paris, then you can come from Paris :-)
chronoexperience =3D past -> (present) -> future

This description fits - by chance - Japanese which tags future on verbs
(whenever that heavenly miracle happens ;-) with imperfective 'iku' (to go=
)
and past with perfective 'kita' (have come) :-)
