virus trouble

Dear All,
 Sorry about the virus problem; there were actually two: one which mucked up
not just email sending but also interfered with anything involving downloading
too; and another which apparently sent out my email address to loads of people
I've never heard of, including several porn sites! As soon as I discovered the
virus in the form of alerts from various servers including the list's, I
stopped sending emails which accounts for the lack of communication.
To summarise; I am real and not a pun on STD's!
