The speakers of Nakiltipkaspimak call themselves Nakiltipkas:
nakil -tip -kas
forest-person-COLLECTIVE
I don't know why really. I'm guessing since they live in
the forest and want to contrast against a people not
living in the forest.
They call their language Paktitpimak, "our language", or
simply Paktit, as in:
- Wixin katkinpamukwatul pimak?
- Paktit, ixintutam.
Wix-in kat-kin -pamuk-wa -tul pimak -0
2PL-ERG 2PL-what-speak-PRES-IRREAL language-ABS
'What language do you speak?'
pak-tit ixin -tutam-0
1PL-GEN mushroom-head -ABS
'Ours, silly.'
As far as Rinya and Seimi are concerned, I have no idea.
