Telek pitch-accent is also nearly completely predictable -- the only exceptions are verbs in Yes/No Questions and "wh-words" (e.g., who, what, where, when, why, and how). Still, I think it would be best to mark this kind of thing, even if it is just to make it consistent for everyone. Telek pitch can get complex at times, so I wouldn't want to make the person adapting my version learn the system. But I notice that Korean is

Certainly. My chinese friend Xingxing always tells me my tones are all wrong, but she can understand me. Marcus
