Well, I don't see how adding a puff of air or vibrating vocal chords can be compared at all.

"Aspirated" you mean for the last one I suppose. I disagree. Aspiration does require a special puff of air, at least I heard when listening carefully to native English people. It's more than just the position of voicing.
