I don't know either. I can't read it with IE6. I have utf-8 encoding and everything, and the pages validate. It's a mystery. Which browser do you use? I know for sure Firefox gets things right, and its quite easy to install, actually.

I already know X-SAMPA. I also already know of CXS, but my resource was here: http://www.theiling.de/ipa/cxs.html My main issue with X-SAMPA is with the palatals. The cases don't match up, which confuses me. "Voiced fricative... was is upper case or lower case? I just know it doesn't match with the unvoiced one..." Ben
