Conlangs that are supposed to be on Earth would be mapped to
Earth, those not of Earth would not be on a map. As for
comparisons with natlangs, it should be possible to match up
with the features of a natlang, get the natlang's coordinates
and map that.
WALS uses googlemap and KML and I see no reason not to use that
myself. I was thinking I'd use Django as I'm using that at work
anyway.
There'd be a form to fill in for you guys, we could copy over
the data from WALS also, to make direct comparisons.
