Imacs come with a CD-ROMs one of which is called Software Install There is a program in there to install in the System software the capabilities to read/write in various scripts and languages among which are Russian, Arabic, Hebrew, Hindi, Gujarati. Earlier system software OS's CD-ROMs only allow to read Chinese and Japanese. But later ones allow to write.
