Absolutely. I used Langmaker to create a base list of Kash forms-- of
course, it was my first "real" conlang-- though _I_ assign the meanings.....
Years back I started creating forms by hand and didn't like the result--they
sounded dumb, there wasn't enough variation, i.e. I seemed to have favorite
sounds that became too predominant. There are around 72,000 potential CVCVC
bases-- 16 Initial C, 5 V, 20 medials, 5 V, 9 finals -- not to mention the
8000 CVCV's, monosyllables, and trisyllables, plus possible initial and
medial clusters (3~6C plus /r/) etc. etc. So it proved to be a very useful
tool and it is easy to cull out the few non-permitted forms generated.
For some reason, it doesn't do Gwr monosyllables as well; anyhow I ought to
be creating Proto Gwr CVCV(C) forms
