I was chatting online with a friend and called something "damned
cool." As I typed it, I realized that I usually say just "damn cool"
instead. I googled for both those phrases, and the results were quite
interesting:
"damned cool" 7,220 Ghits
"damn cool" 82,600 Ghits
ObTangent: How shall we pronounce "Ghits"? [gIts] and [dZIts], so
boring... (When I started writing this e-mail, I had no idea that
"Ghits" was a term with some use already! One site suggested [dZi
hIts].)
