AFAIK, in Sindarin, one of the mutations of [m] is [m_0], which later became [v]. That's also why "vellon" can be written as "mhellon" when this mutation applies, but is still pronounced ["vEl:On]. -- Though "mellon" is Quenya I thought, or did they keep it unchanged in Sindarin? I've just seen that example in a Sindarin grammar sketch, but I don't remember the URL anymore. IIRC, that page was in German, anyway. I don't know anything about Telerin and Ilkorin -- does Ardalambion give any information on these? Has the Quenya course PDF been updated finally?
