Some raw data. In Hadwan: /DI.jE.tU/, /DI.jE.nU/, /Dja.lU/
> Initial [sj] in: *siesto, *sievo, *siamo etc.
/sI.jEs.tU/, /sI.jE.BU/, /sU.ja.mU/
> Initial [kj] in: *kiano, *kiepto, *kielo etc.
/kja.nU/, /kI.jEp.tU/, /kI.jE.lU/
> Initial [vj] in: *viato, *vieno, *violo etc.
/Bja.tU/, /BI.jE.nU/, /BI.jU.lU/
> Initial [gj] in: *giapo, *gieno, *giosto etc.
/Gja.pU/ (or /ja.pU/ possibly), /GI.jE.nU/, /GI.jU.stU/ These would be very weird-sounding Hadwan words, actually.
> Initial [bj] in: *bialo, *biento, *biesto etc.
/Bja.lU/, /BI.jEn.tU/, /BI.jEs.tU/
> Initial [mj] in: *mielo, *miano, *mioso etc.
/mI.jE.lU/, /mU.ja.nU/, /mI.jU.sU/
> Initial [fw] in: *fuoco, *fuano, *fuero etc.
/PU.wU.kU/ (or /PU:.kU/?), /Pwa.nU/, /PU.wE.rU/ (It'd be very tough to have <uo> in Hadwan, as they don't differentiate the two...)
> Initial [lw] in: *luano, *luego, *luiso etc.
/lE.wa.nU/, /lU.wE.gU/, /lU.wI.sU/
> Initial [pw] in: *pueblo, *puepo, *puoso etc.
/pU.wE.BlU/, /pU.wE.pU/, /pU.wU.sU/ or /pU:.sU/
> Initial [gw] in: *guano, *guero, *guido etc.
/Gwa.nU/, /GU.wE.rU/, /GU.wI.DU/
> Initial [kw] in: *kualo, *kueno, *kuoto etc.
/kwa.lU/, /kU.wE.nU/, /kU.wU.tU/ or /kU:tU/
> Initial [dw] in: *dualo, *dueno, *duito etc.
/Dwa.lU/, /DU.wE.nU/, /DU.wI.tU/
> Initial [rw] in: *ruano, *ruino, *rueso etc.
/rE.wa.nU/, /rU.wI.nU/, /rU.wE.sU/ (I suppose we're not much for vowel clusters...)

Hadwan has this. The vowel added depends on the place of the second consonant (it may not be naturalistic, but there it is) labials, <e> (PH *kbali > H *kEbali) dentals, <i> (PH *ktali > H *kItali) velars, l, r <u> (PH *rlali > H *rUlali) This happens at illegal clusters and syllabic consonants. (kme > kme, but akm > akem)
> Or you could just simplify clusters: > > *pbali >> bali
Atlantic has this. OAtl. <dhágosine> "justice" /'dxa.Go.si.ne/ -> /'xa.go.si.Je/ (then /xa/ > /ha/ > /a/ > MAtl. <ágosin'e>) *Muke! -- http://muke.twu.net/
