The following are permitted diphthongs based on sequence of vowels:
ai /ai/, oi /oi/, ui /ui/, au /Au/, eu /Eu/, iu /ju/.
If such a sequence were to be rendered as two syllables, it would be
necessary to add a diaeresis onto the second one. For example, cnaïl
"example" = /Sna'il/.
