If you know modern Icelandic, that is. I very rarely have occasion to speak an
ON word aloud, but when I do I don't feel compelled to refrain because I don't
know how an Icelander would pronounce. Or even if I do, I might not see any
point in trying to produce, say, a proper Icelandic "hr" when the cluster [hr`]
comes more easily to my tongue.
