Not weird at all : the only "toon" I can find in my out-worn Dutch-French=20
dictionary is actually French "ton" (Eng. "tone"). Deriving "toon" from=20
"tonen" is an effect of my own imagination :-) Jutes and Saxons may have the=20
same weird habits. What do Rempt & Rempt think of it ?
