To me, i understand "islam" as the name of a religion, and "islamic" as the
coresponding adjective. The name of believers is "muslim". (i am unsure of the
spelling)
I have a diferent understanding for "islamist" and "islamism". I understand
"islamist" as "extremist islamic", or "extremist muslim", While "islmamism" is
not a religion, but an extremist movement WITHIN the islamic religion.
