In Rihana-ye, pit as seed is "disiga" (small-hard-plant), and tunnel is "levesa" (through-go-rock). By analogy, a vertical hole/pit should be *nevesa" (down go rock). In Jases Lalal it might be navas, though that might be banned as "dalal"--too close to Rihana-ye. John Leland
