Malay 6-vowel system (think: Spanish vowel system with _schwa_ added!).

<<BTW what is the official Italian (i.e., Tuscan) vowel system _really_
like??? Is it a 5, 6 or what vowel system? I keep hearing "conflicting
reportage."
ALSO where on the web can I find other languages' phonologies?>>
AMUSING 20-VOWEL SYSTEM (based on personal field-notes developed from 'phone
conversations with a female friend who speaks "Hindilish" - hehe, hope she
doesn't notice that I was not _really_ payin' attention to _her_ ;)
Pretty much the same as "General Indian English" (GIE) - a 17-vowel
system (11 monophthongs, 6 diphthongs) - but with a nasalized,
Valley-Grrl-styled /a~/ and monophthongs /A/and /I/ added:
i i: e: E { a: Q o: U u: @ . . . a~ A I
ai oi aU I@ e@ U@
Hanuman Zhang => Xanumaan Dja:xng /'hanuma~n dZahN/

Sometimes the difference between noise and music is all in your head

_NADA BRAHMA_= < from Sanskrit > "sound is god[head]"/"god[head] is sound"
anavriti shabdat => "Liberation by sound."
