I've been lurking for a while, but since a whole bunch of newbies are
introducing themselves, I guess I should too.
I'm shy and afraid of criticism, *and* intimidated by the collective
intelligence of this group, so it's kind of hard.
I'm a high school student in California with many interests, from
computer programming to cartooning. I've always been interested in
grammar and linguistics, and where words and names come from in general.
Long ago I created my own world, which has grown faster and faster ever
since. It takes place in a state/micronation/county/whatever near
California in the 18th dimension. When I first created my own language
for it, I just used English with some letters switched, but a few years
ago I scrapped that and started over again with a *real* conlang. It
doesn't have its own grammar yet (it just uses English's), but I'm
working on it.
