da = that (introducing the subclause to a verb)
dis = this (closing a subclause)
-im = suffix to a verb showing that the object is oblique
Example:
Mi raitim gal wa mi--I write to my girl
Mi rait mel aim gal wa mi--I write a letter to my girl
