Thanks for all the replies, everybody. Say, And, what's the difference between holistic and syntactic ambiguity. I'm assuming that "Flying planes can be dangerous" might be an example of syntactic ambiguity. But the term "holistic ambiguity" is new for me. Thanks in advance, Jim
