You should consider buying a copy of Leslie Lamport's "LaTeX(2e): A
Document Preparation System". The definitive document on LaTeX by the
creator of LaTeX himself, and he happens to be one of those rare people
who believe that software documentation should be *enjoyable* to read. A
highly recommended book for learning LaTeX.
