Thanks for the clarification. The sound I'm probably intending to use for
my first click pair is the lateral click, with unrounded and rounded
forms. To me, that's the most "natural" to preoduce of the click sounds.

Ok, I'll try.
I hold my mouth in the position for /q/, only tighter, and instead of
making the egressive sound /q/, I kind of suck in the back of my tongue and
release it in much the manner of the dental click, but this is the _back_
of the tongue.
It's a bit of a weird gollum-type of noise (atlthough I always imagined
that as more of a phlegm-gurgle), such as you mught make if you were
choking or trying to get a piece of something off your uvula.
Does that help in categorizing, or shall we just call it "Geoff's weird
noise #1" or something?
