Are there many such prefixes? I seem to recall that many Native
American languages have huge stocks of affixes like those,
which in other langs one would only expect to find as roots.
And do they have anything to do with oligosynthesis? (I ask
this because UA, I think, was mentioned regarding this
phenomenon, and the idea of many small affixes coming
together to form complex words rings a bell...)
